Absolutely! We welcome rescue dogs and are experienced in helping them adjust and thrive through positive reinforcement training.

How long does the training take?

The duration of training varies depending on your dog's individual needs and the specific goals you aim to achieve. We create tailored plans for optimal progress.

What is your training approach?

We always use positive reinforcement to ensure dogs are happy and willing to learn. Our methods prioritise their well-being and communication to ensure a happy and safe environment for everyone.

How is Paws and Path different from other dog trainers?

As a small family team, we strive to make every dog feel at home. We focus on creating a fun, engaging, and loving environment where dogs can learn, play, and get plenty of cuddles.

What is the difference between an emotional support dog and a service dog?

We often get asked about the distinction between emotional support dogs and service dogs, as well as their public access rights. We can clarify these differences during a consultation.

How do you help with owner-based service dog training?

You can send your dog to us for training, or you can participate in the sessions to learn the techniques yourself. This helps ensure consistency and strengthens your bond with your service dog. As an owner currently training my own PTSD/Medical alert service dog prospect, I have personal experience in this field.
